Creating a campaign to better interact with fans.
Solution:
Launch an app that delivers fans a revolutionary second screen experience and access to exclusive backstage content. Create teasers for the biggest event of the WWE, the Royal Rumble, to drive curiosity and create online noise.
Result:
The WWE App has surpassed 10 million downloads in 220 countries around the world. Also, the secrecy surrounding the Royal Rumble was able to create a buzz before, during and after the even by teasing audiences with e-mails, social media and blog posts. Therefore, people ordered the show on pay per view and increased television ratings.
