Media companies should reorganize their working structures in order to keep up with how content is being consumed today and make up for existing inefficiencies. Instead of putting design and technology on different floors, or different cities for that matter, people should sit together by project, not department. Each discipline should be involved from beginning to end of every project.

Embrace Social Media

 

The real value of social media initiatives lies in developing and strengthening a relationship between a brand and its consumers. Traditional ROI measurements are no longer the main analytical tool. Instead, marketers should focus on measuring the overall impact a brand’s social presence has on its relationship with customers.
